What is a HC?

Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) over 8 tonne (8000kg) with a trailer of more than 9 tonne GVM.

Also includes trucks and buses in Light Rigid (LR), Medium Rigid (MR) and Heavy Rigid (HR) licence categories.

ROAD RANGER GEAR BOX – will give you an open licence which is required by many transport companies, also many mines require an open licence to gain access to their mines.

Prerequisites

Must have held a Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) license for at least 12 months.
